Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if I order more than one item and one of the items is a pre-order item?
If you have ordered more than one item and one or more of the items are on a pre-order plan (10-14 days delivery) we will collate your items and send all of them together once the pre-order item arrives to us as we endeavour to be more sustainable. If you would prefer to have the product that is in stock in the UK delivered ahead of the pre-order item then please use the contact us form to advise us and we will do our best to accommodate this.
I live in the UK and I’m looking for replacement nose pieces for my sunglass or spare parts for my helmet, who can I contact?
Replacement parts are available on the website. Please click on accessories and you will find all our spare parts. If you cannot find what you are looking for please Contact us
What glue should I use for adhering my nose pads to my sunglasses?
The nose pads on the glasses can sometimes fall off. This can happen due to sweat penetrating the adhesive; sweat can be quite corrosive. We advise that you use a cyanoacrylate glue when reapplying your nose pads. This is generally referred to as 'super glue'.
I believe my Salice product has developed a manufacturing fault, what action should I take?

How do I change my SALICE lenses?
Please locate the model of sunglass on our website and click on the lens changing instructions within the product description.
Can I purchase spare SALICE lenses?
It is only recommended to use a Salice Lens Cleaning Cloth, do not use any other solvents, chemicals or third party cleaning kits because they have not been tested on our lenses and can possibly damage them.
Are SALICE sunglasses suitable for driving?
It is not recommended to drive in any of the RW Mirror or RWP Mirror Polarised lenses.
Do you have a crash replacement system?
There is a crash replacement system available for Salice helmets and sunglasses please visit www.salice.co.uk for more information
How often should I replace my bike/ski helmet?
Helmets have a limited life span and should be replaced after 5 years, regardless of visible signs of wear. Long term exposure to UV light can damage or degrade the materials, also plastic parts on the helmet will degrade over time.
The purpose of the helmet is to absorb impact, should this happen this may cause partial destruction of the shell which is not always visible. In case of a crash, replace the helmet even if it doesn’t show any visible signs of damage. Please note we have a crash replacement system. Click here
We recommend you don’t apply any stickers to the helmet. The helmet can also be damaged by solvents, cleaning products, paint or other materials. Do not leave the helmet close to heat or exposed to direct sunlight for a long time.
How do I measure my head to get the correct helmet size?
To get the right size helmet measure around your head above your eyebrows and your ears. Make sure the tape measure goes around the largest part of the back of your head. This will give you the circumference of your head so you can select the correct helmet size.
Do any of your helmets have MIPS?
We don’t have any helmets with MIPS or similar – The reason that Salice don’t use MIPS is because the helmets are rigorously tested to the international standards and tests set out by the European Committee for standardization and they feel this is correct and sufficient. Although there are many tests for MIPS, until CEN adopt MIPS as part of the standard they don't feel it’s necessary to have helmets with MIPS.
Who should I contact regarding sponsorship?
If you are team or an individual and you are based outside the UK please direct your sponsorship requests to salice@saliceocchiali.it – otherwise please contact us through the contact us page on our website.
Will you price match?
Never knowingly undersold, Never beaten on price...familiar strap lines.
We are the UK distributors of Salice Products and as such we set the Sterling RRP. The RRP is based on providing, not only a good product to our customers but also a good customer service experience every step of the way. This means that we support our UK bricks and mortar stockists as well as our UK online retailers. We believe that walking into a shop to try on a product and buying from that shop is essential to the success of UK retail and makes sure that our end customer has a positive brand experience. We believe the RRP for Salice products is a fair price to the end user, taking into account many costs, product development, logistics, VAT, corporation tax, customer service, marketing.
We all know that when shopping online pricing can vary. We all want the best product for the best price.
At Salice UK we bring you great products and we want you to feel that you can buy from us at the best price too.
